1. Securing the relocation of the West Avenue pump station from the Lincoln Road street end at the bay to the post office parking lot.
  2. Preventing the construction of tower on the north side of Canopy Park at 710/720 Alton Rd./West Avenue – originally proposed at 186 feet (+25’ for rooftop mechanical) and an entire city block wide. The first presentation to the Commission received an extremely rare unanimous deferral.
  3. Successfully persuading the City to renegotiate with individual condo developments and homeowners regarding the West Avenue Phase 2 Street Raising Project in order to better address harmonization concerns and parking issues.
  4. Securing passage of a 2 AM alcohol ordinance for West Avenue.
  5. Bringing to the forefront, the issue of derelict boats and the negative  consequences of boaters using our seawall to come ashore – resulting in the commission passing a number of ordinances to mitigate the impacts of these issues.
  6. Successfully securing a three(3) acre park for West Avenue during the negotiations for the Five Park Tower project – resulting in Canopy Park on West Avenue.
  7. Engaging the City to prioritize street cleanliness along West Avenue & Alton Court by arranging for numerous on-site community walks, coupled with constant one-on-one follow ups.
  8. Improved upkeep & maintenance at the 10th & 14th Street parklets along the bay.
  9. Participating in numerous Special Magistrate meetings to make sure Bikini Hostel is held accountable for their numerous code violations.
  10. Working with Commissioners to secure additional resident parking short & long term.
  11. Working with Commissioners to keep the momentum going on our Baywalk & Pedestrian Bridge
  12. Prioritizing our West Avenue residents with constant engagement at monthly meetings and resident socials.
  13. Opening of baywalk behind Southgate once Mirador baywalk opens toward the end of the year.
  14. Continue to participate in numerous city meeting impacting our residents QOL. These include Commission, Planning Board, Designs Review Board, Public Safety & Neighborhood QOL, and Special Magistrates.
  15. WAvNA worked with ICON president, City Staff, & Building management to improve appearance, maintenance, & safety of 5th & Alton Rd Shops.
